I shall try myself to find out what is best way for me to remember those words and expressions. Do I work better making something, writing or moving? Do I need a picture or a video ? Shall I write and read ? We kind of all.
You see, it is not all that eyes see.
Do you read instructions or try doing things and read in the same time? What if to do something more hands on ? Change your computer to English only for a day! You then have to work out what it means now! But it might be simpler as you know what it is and now you simply learn the English word for that. ( Could be German, Hungarian or Chinese)
It is known we have combination of appraoches to learning and memorising.
Teachers found that we have some combination of capabilities and devide studdiang and learning style into 4 mains : Kinestetic ( like kino is it ?) , Auditory, Visual . If to use best of your capability, you can get easier way to learn,
Remember, there is no oneand always one right answer. We have different abilities and we also change !

USE FLASH CARDS ! USE ALL - BUT MAKE IT EASY and STUDY OFTEN !
Do not set up GRAND GOALS... Cheat- make it achievable and easy. Do not skip the 5-10 minutes daily exercise. "Tomorrow never comes".

Brain absorbs information well only 30-45 minutes and then relaxes. Best to make it a habit. It is alike a diet- in general can give you weight loss soon, but can be only temporary and bad for you at the end. Create a habit learn while travelling, having your morning breakfast... anything even sitting on the throne !
